Our Promise
MedicoAlarm is built to be private by design. We do not collect, store on our servers, share, or sell your personal or health information. We have no backend that receives your data.
Where Your Data Lives
Everything you enter — medicines, schedules, stock, prescriptions, voice notes, doctors and emergency contacts — is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, a private copy may sync through your own Apple iCloud account, which is managed by Apple and is not accessible to us. On Android, the equivalent optional backup goes to your own Google account.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party trackers. We do not create developer accounts that hold your data. We cannot read your medicines, prescriptions, or any content you add.
Device Permissions
Camera is used only to scan prescriptions and labels on your device. Microphone and Speech Recognition are used to record voice notes and dictate text; speech recognition is performed by Apple or Google under their own privacy terms, and we never receive it. Notifications and alarms are scheduled locally. You can revoke any permission in Settings.
Subscriptions
MedicoAlarm Plus is processed entirely by Apple or Google through your store account. We do not receive or store your payment details.
Deleting Your Data
Because your data is held on your own device and in your own cloud account, deleting it in the app removes it immediately and completely. Full instructions, and a request form if you no longer have the device, are on the account deletion page.
Children
MedicoAlarm is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them — we do not collect information at all.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here with a new date. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
